Vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective and vaccination decreases the risk of severe illness, hospitalization and death from COVID-19 infection. Free vaccination and boosters are available near any location. Therefore, because we want everyone to have a rich, engaging and safe experience on campus this year, Albright College strongly encourages vaccination and booster shots for all faculty, staff and students. But the best way to protect everyone is through vaccination. Below are guidelines and information on preventing the spread of COVID-19 on campus.įaculty, students and staff are strongly encouraged to get the COVID-19 vaccine /booster and report vaccination status to the Gable Health Center by uploading a copy of your vaccination card to the health portal. As we return to campus for the fall 2022 semester, Albright’s Pandemic Planning Task Force has been closely monitoring COVID-19 news and guidelines for institutions of higher education.
